Fragrances (for Melt and Pour Soap Making, Bath Bombs, and Bath Salts). All the fragrances on this page are cosmetic grade and suitable for use with all of our soap and cosmetic and toiletry supplies. How much fragrance oil do you need? We would recommend that you use 1% (10mls per kg) which will provide excellent results. You will only need to increase the amount used if you are making soap which may be displayed over a long period of time, say in a shop, which may be highly heated. In these cases you may prefer to increase to 1.5% or 15 mls per kg of glycerine soapbase. Fragrance is very individual and you may prefer a more subtle fragrance for your soaps and only use .5% or 5 mls per Kg. When using our fragrance oils in melt and pour soap base you should not exceed 3%. If you are making one kilo of soap, you therefore should add no more than 30mls of fragrance. However, higher amounts can be used if making cold processed soaps. Click on a link below to order your fragrance.
