Rose & Peony

Bathing Crystals

200g coarse sea salts

50g Epsom salts

1 tablespoon cornflour

Cosmetic grade Rose fragrance oil

1 tablespoon rose petals

1 tablespoon peony petals

Ribbon to decorate

This recipe uses The Soap Tub tubing and end caps as a great packaging idea. To use this simply cut a 15 cm length of tubing. Place one end cap into the end.

Place the coarse sea salts and epsom salts into a mixing bowl.

Add rose fragrance oil and blend thoroughly.

Blend the cornflour in and mix thoroughly.

Add the rose petals

and fill the tube.

Top with the peony petals and place in the top end cap.

Finish with a ribbon tied off at the top and label underneath.

RECIPE TWO

Citrus Bath Soak

200g coarse sea salts

50g epsom salts

1 tablespoon cornflour

1 teaspoon nettle

1 tablespoon calendula petals

1 teaspoon safflowers

1 orange slice

Raffia to decorate

Mix the coarse sea salts and epsom salts together and mix in the fragrance.

Blend in the cornflour thoroughly. Add the calendula petals, safflowers and dried nettle and blend well.

Fill the tube, fit in the end cap and arrange a dried orange slice on the top. Tie off with natural raffia and add a label underneath.
